‘A Life Without Recipes’ means cooking without instructions and eating without diets.

Nothing is universal: one specific diet or way of cooking/recipe may not be suitable to everyone; individuals need to hone in on what works for them in these fields, highlighting their talents, bodies, abilities and personalities, tastes and capitalizing on the notion that with creativity in cooking brings creativity in life.

A New Yorker by birth, in 2010 I packed up and moved across the world to Tel Aviv, which I knew was my home and my destiny. My decision to uproot, coupled with many things I realized about myself and about life in the process inspired me to want to inspire others to live their most authentic selves, through food.

I hope my blog serves as a jumping-off point by which my readers can reference and extract information from a variety of off-the-cuff, “non-recipe” concoctions, and back stories that go with each, citing references to ingredients and what works with each persons body and metabolism, and bring a whole new meaning to the concept of cooking.

** I dedicate my blog to my supportive, loving and compassionate husband, who never ceases to bring out the good in me, and to my daughter, the newest jewel and the absolute love of my life.
